How do I sign up for testing?
Pay the registration fee of €75 to the INL bank account (CCPL LU57 1111 2993 9957 0000).
Send or bring with you to INL the completed application file:
- a registration form filled out in capital letters;
- a photocopy of the candidate's identity document*;
- A confirmation from the bank that the registration fee has been paid.
Only candidates who have submitted a comprehensive application package will be registered.
Registration for the tests will be on a first-come, first-served basis, contingent on organizational capacity. Applicants whose registrations for one session are denied will be given preference for the subsequent session.
The dates and times of the session are mailed to candidates at least 15 days before the first test. Timekeeping violations will result in exclusion from the examination.
Candidates must present the same identification document that was attached to their registration file at the time of testing.
A candidate who withdraws without a valid reason or does not appear for the examination will not receive a refund and will be required to re-register.
Special circumstances:
If a person with a disability registers, INL will provide the necessary equipment or assistance to ensure that he or she is able to take the examinations under optimal conditions. The disability must be noted in an official document issued by the medical facility in every instance. This document must be included in the registration dossier.
- Visually impaired: the exam center will provide additional test copies and increase the allotted time by one-third.
- Hearing Impaired: Written instructions will be provided. The allotment of time will be increased by a third.
- Physical handicap: Arrangements are made for access to the premises.
*The following documents are valid forms of identification:
- Foreign passport.
- Identity card issued by a competent foreign authority.
- Refugee Residence Permit issued by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (titre de séjour).
- The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs grants stateless individuals a residence permit (titre de séjour).
- The foreigner's residence permit (titre de séjour) is issued by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
- The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs issues residence cards (cartes de séjour).
- Certificate issued by the Office of Immigration of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs attesting that the applicant is a refugee within the meaning of the Geneva Convention on the Status of Refugees of 28 July 1951.
